Chautauqua
Meadow walks and access to Boulder’s Flatirons trails. Check trail and parking information before heading out.
Boulder offers a different pace from a day in Denver. Our starting point is Chautauqua, where you can plan an outing around the meadows and trails beneath the Flatirons. Choose the walk that suits your group rather than treating the whole area as one hike.
Review the trailhead information first, then decide how much walking you want to do. Build your day around that choice and leave a comfortable break for food afterward. A shorter outdoor stop can be a better arrival-day plan than a full hiking itinerary.
Check the City of Boulder page for trail access and parking details. Bring the layers, water, and footwear appropriate for the day’s conditions. If anyone in your group would prefer less walking, agree on a shorter route before setting out.
